Supporting AFAC

We all understand the importance of having enough food to eat and the benefits of a healthy diet. Some residents of Arlington, though, don’t have access to enough or the right kinds of food. You can directly affect the health and well being of both individual residents and families and our whole community with a gift to AFAC.

A gift to AFAC’s Annual Fund is one way you can make that difference in our community. AFAC relies on private gifts from the community to support our food program needs. We only receive 20% of our annual cash budget from Arlington County. AFAC’s Annual Fund is especially important because it supports our food distribution program and covers our daily expenses.

Our efforts would not be possible without the support of the Arlington community. Your gift means that 2 million pounds of food will be distributed to Arlington families in need this year. Our low overhead means that you can be assured that your gift is being used to its utmost. Help us ‘feed our neighbors in need’ with a gift to AFAC.

Your donation to AFAC's Annual Fund helps in a number of ways.
