Garden Open Houses 2019

Several Arlington gardens will be open to the public during Urban Agriculture Month in October. In addition to a community garden, a schoolyard garden, and a private residence, ten selected Arlington Food Assistance Center (AFAC) “Plot gardens” in Arlington will open and their gardeners will welcome visitors and answer questions about why, what, and how they grow food to donate to Arlington’s main food pantry. Come meet gardeners who make this possible, get practical ideas about how to garden in small spaces, and gain an appreciation of the vitality and scope of urban agriculture in Arlington County.
